Danny and I couldn't be happier to report the news we received at the specialist yesterday!!
Nathan has gained just about a full pound in the last 2 weeks! WOW!!! He's 5 pounds now and in the 13th percentile. The doctor was also pleased with his progress. My fluids are good and the baby doesn't appear to be under any stress. He's doing just great!
Unless Nathan comes sooner on his own he is still scheduled to be born on December 27th. I'm hopeful that if he continues to gain weight at the current rate he'll be around 6 to 6.5 pounds when born.
What a blessed Christmas gift and answer to so many prayers.
Thank you all for your prayers and concern. Danny and I would like to give a special thank you to Nonnie (Danny's grandmother) -- she calls everyday and cooks us lots of really wonderful food - I think she may be the reason Nathan has gained so much weight!!! Thank you Nonnie!!
