Nathan is Hebrew and means "gift from God" - we couldn't have been more blessed than to have been chosen as his parents!

Thank you for keeping up-to-date with Nathan. We hope you visit often and enjoy experiencing our son's journey as much as we do. Please feel free to leave comments.

We love hearing from everyone!!!!

Nathan's halfway to one!!!!!

We had cake tonight in honor of Nathan turning 6 months old!!! We also celebrated because most children born with Down Syndrome have a heart defect usually corrected around 6 months of age - Nathan was spared this health issue! So, we had ice cream and yummy cake to celebrate our blessings!!!

(by the way - Danny said he did not squish those flowers on Nathan's cake even though he picked it up. He said the box was too small - ummm yeah right!)

Nathan also taste tested the frosting and vanilla ice cream - the frosting was an immediate hit but the ice cream took a little getting used to. I'm think it had more do with the temperature than the flavor. I have no idea how we went from a clean birthday crown to one with cake on it! He some how must have leaned over into the cake when I had it on his high chair. Does Nathan look like he had a little too much partying for a 6-month old? haha
