Nathan is Hebrew and means "gift from God" - we couldn't have been more blessed than to have been chosen as his parents!

Thank you for keeping up-to-date with Nathan. We hope you visit often and enjoy experiencing our son's journey as much as we do. Please feel free to leave comments.

We love hearing from everyone!!!!

An update on Nathan..

I'm happy to report that although Nathan is still under the weather he hasn't gotten worse as the doctor thought - at least not yet. He did say it could happen around day seven so we still have a few days left. The worst part of this cold is that Nathan doesn't know how to cough to rid the phlegm in his throat so it's very difficult for him to breath sometimes. I attempt to demonstrate coughing to him so maybe he'll mimic - nope - he just laughs at me! He has such a wonderful and sweet personality even when he doesn't feel well. Even in the hospital he was cracking up when the doctor put the stethoscope on his chest - he thought it was hysterical!

On another note, the pediatrician called yesterday to see how Nathan was feeling - I was so impressed! I know this raising a child stuff is all new to me but I've never had a doctor call to see how I'm feeling.

On the up side, Nathan hasn't had any therapy this week.

Poor little guy! :( Being sick is no fun! Praying he doesn't get worse before better and he heals quickly!

So glad to hear that the little patient is in good spirits! Maybe that 'getting worse' part will just pass him by. The new picture at the top of the blog is so sweet- his eyes look beautiful!
