As you may or may not know, Nathan receives lots of indispensable therapy through the Early Intervention program. His services consists of occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, and special education. All of Nathan's therapists are truly experts in their field. However, sometimes that's just not enough.
Our family has been struggling with one of Nathan's therapists attendance for quite sometime and my patience has officially run out. The therapist has a litany of reasons why she's unable to make her scheduled sessions - all of which could be completely true and valid. The reasons are irrelevant to me - frequent absenteeism inhibits Nathan's development and it's not going to be tolerated. We schedule our life around therapy because its value cannot be overstated. The developmental progress Nathan has made is tremendous and the reliability of his therapists is essential to the process.
So, we are officially one therapist short, but Nathan's case worker is on it and we should have a replacement soon.
