Nathan is Hebrew and means "gift from God" - we couldn't have been more blessed than to have been chosen as his parents!

Thank you for keeping up-to-date with Nathan. We hope you visit often and enjoy experiencing our son's journey as much as we do. Please feel free to leave comments.

We love hearing from everyone!!!!

15 Month Check-Up

Nathan had his 15 month check-up yesterday and he is doing great! We found out that his thyroid is fine and his blood cell make-up and his lead test were also both negative.

He had his chicken pox vaccine - we delayed his other vaccination until 24 months. Nathan is in the 25th percentile for height and weight, which is fabulous because he was in the 3rd to 5th when he was born ~ that's progress! For those of you that have children with Down syndrome, you know there is another chart that whereby doctors use to chart growth the growth of your baby compared to the Down syndrome population. On that chart Nathan is ranking in the 75th to 90th percentile for both height and weight! I'd say no matter the irrelevant chart you compare him on ~ he's doing awesome!!!
