If your a regular to Nathan's blog, than you probably know that I am very afraid of the higher than normal occurrence of Leukemia in children with Down syndrome. As Nathan approaches his second birthday, he'll be tested.
With that said, there is was a news report today that St. Judes Children Hospital Researchers have "identified a new chromosomal abnormality in acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) that appears to work in concert with another mutation to give rise to cancer. This latest anomaly is particularly common in children with Down syndrome."
