Nathan is Hebrew and means "gift from God" - we couldn't have been more blessed than to have been chosen as his parents!

Thank you for keeping up-to-date with Nathan. We hope you visit often and enjoy experiencing our son's journey as much as we do. Please feel free to leave comments.

We love hearing from everyone!!!!

Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward-Facing Dog)

I've recently learned that Nathan has perfected the most widely recognized yoga stance - "an all over rejuvenating stretch" - the downward-facing dog!

He does this all the time!! This morning Danny went to get him out of his crib and he was standing on his head and when he came into bed this morning he was doing it on Danny's chest. We were cracking up!

He has now begun to let go of his hands and just stand on his head! He is so silly! (I'm not a fan of him being on his head. It makes me very nervous).

Day at the Park

We spent yesterday at the park enjoying our first taste of Spring! I am so excited about the nice weather and really look forward to all the fun we're going to have in the months ahead! I intend on making the best of every day and every opportunity!
I really have a lot to post about from the past few days but don't have the time right now. I'll do an odds and ends post for tomorrow.

Notes to Nathan

You're going to notice a few changes to Nathan's blog that include notes to him from his parents - Daddy too! I've recently discovered a wonderful website that affords me the opportunity to easily turn this blog into a published book. I have every intention on doing just that.

One day, Nathan will have a wonderful encyclopedia of his life and little messages from us!

The software also allows us to publish all pictures and blogger comments! So, if you post comments they will be included in his book. So, all you non-posting family members - if you have something you'd like Nathan to read one day - leave a comment. Isn't that cool!

I'll be working on his book over the summer.

Check it out and make some memories of your own! http://www.blurb.com/

Note to Nathan: Nathan, I know these books are intended for you to learn about your life but I'll enjoy reading them over and over again too!
PS ~ Daddy bought you a new mattress for your crib today. It's a really comfy one. You've been tossing and turning a lot lately so, we're trying to see if this helps. It can't hurt! Love, Mommy

My First Hair Cut!

Note to Nathan: You were such a good boy when Aunt Kathy cut your hair! I know in one of these pictures it looks like daddy and Aunt Kathy were holding you down but that was only because those scissors were very sharp and we didn't want you to get cut. Mommy thought it very important for you to get your hair cut because she wants to take you for your Easter pictures and to see the Easter Bunny. Love, Mommy
