Nathan is Hebrew and means "gift from God" - we couldn't have been more blessed than to have been chosen as his parents!

Thank you for keeping up-to-date with Nathan. We hope you visit often and enjoy experiencing our son's journey as much as we do. Please feel free to leave comments.

We love hearing from everyone!!!!

Well Well(s)....

Hi everyone ~ the Terry family is blogging live from the beautiful vacation State of Maine and we're having a fabulous time eating lobster, playing on the beach, shopping and hanging out at our campsite!
We are camping at the Wells Beach RV Resort and this morning enjoyed breakfast, visited the beach and went shopping in Kennebunkport (hotlink is a slide show of the area). I have a few favorite stores there and Danny found a great brewery today. I'm not a fan of beer but the Sun Fish Wheat Ale is great! We are heading back tomorrow to bring some home.

On our first day, we found a lobster market. That's where Nathan met Larry ~ the lobster. He was delicious!

Hope you are all enjoying whatever it is that you're doing right now! I know I was suppose to do my next reveal but I just didn't have time to get the post together before we left and I don't have the pictures with me. Next week!

The August Place To Be!

On Sunday, the Terry Family headed to the August place to be ~ the Saratoga Race Track for breakfast. I'm a huge fan of the ponies and love spending the day at the track but until next year but we feel Nathan is too young to handle all the excitement. With that said, going up very early for breakfast to watch the horses get their morning exercise was a great idea! Nathan really enjoyed watching the horses ~ when they'd trot by he'd wave and they'd race by he'd giggle.

For those of you with children this is such a nice morning out. Breakfast is served in the Club House from 7:00am until 9:30am and the buffet is about $15 per person. If you park in the main gate parking off of exit 14, the cost is $10 but you'll have your money returned as long as you leave before 10am. There is a sign for the breakfast parking so make sure you're in the right spot.

Crawling Is for Babies!

I've been promising family members from various parts of the country video of Nathan walking and I'm finally coming through ~ my apologies. I've been meaning to post these but Nathan was sick all last week with a virus.

I'm so proud of Nathan's progress! The first video is from August 10th ~ the second is from August 13th and as you'll notice, Nathan was unable to stand up well by himself in the first video but three days later that all changed. You'll also see that in the second video Nathan is still doing some crawling ~ not anymore!!!! He has gotten so good at standing when he falls that he's pretty much stopped crawling! So cool ~ all in a week!!! He's just amazing!!

Nathan has also begun to verbalize much more. Last Saturday, we were eating breakfast and he burped. As usual, I said, "say, excuse me." Normally, Nathan would have signed "sorry," which is the same as excuse me but not this time. Nope, this time he said, "cuse me!" I sat there stunned ~ started to tear up. Thank God Danny was standing there too because I may have just thought I was hearing things but when I looked at him he said, he heard it too!!! My little man said "cuse me!"

Later that day, he was hanging out with his grandmother and mimicked "ouch!" He's still saying ouch and he said out yesterday but he has not said cuse me since. What's really exciting is that he's beginning to verbally mimic on command. We are so proud of you Nathan!!!
