Nathan is Hebrew and means "gift from God" - we couldn't have been more blessed than to have been chosen as his parents!

Thank you for keeping up-to-date with Nathan. We hope you visit often and enjoy experiencing our son's journey as much as we do. Please feel free to leave comments.

We love hearing from everyone!!!!

Skype Video Calling

The Terry Family would like to introduce you to the coolest video Internet calling website ~ http://www.skype.com

We are now using it and it's sooooo cool!!!

We talk to our family online and are expecting more to come online soon. It's free and super easy to download. All you need is a computer camera - if your computer doesn't have one they are really cheap to purchase.

If you have family or friends that you'd like to chat with via live-video feed ~ sign up!!! Seriously, this is so awesome. We have family in other parts of the country and it's such a great way to stay connected! If you decide to sign up let me know and I'll tell you how to find us on skype.

Hope to see you soon!!! I love technology!

It's Official! The Capital Region Buddy Walk Commercial is Finished!

The Buddy Walk committee would like to thank Lori Porter and Bill & Mary Beth Goodwin for their work on the commercial!!!! I'd also like to thank all of those that contributed pictures. The commercials have been delivered to all local television stations and will begin airing anytime!

For those of you who haven't registered please do so at http://www.capitalregionbuddywalk.org/

This year's event is going to be amazing! Filled with lots of food, entertainment and surprises! Although the festivities are free, it is the first year that we will be raising pledges, So, I'll be hitting you all up for a couple of dollars!

The success of the Buddy Walk would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of our friends and family. Seriously, this amazing event is a byproduct of the birth of Nathan Terry! He is changing lives through the people that love him. Here is the Buddy Walk A-Team:

Rose ~ cousin
Kathy ~ Nathan's aunt
Danny ~ daddy
Lisa, Carly, & Christina D. ~ family
Lisa and Aron E. ~ friends
Maria ~ friend
Corrie ~ friend
Mary ~ friend
Tommy ~ cousin
Keith ~ friend
Vicky ~ mom of Ava

Many of my other friends have also offered to help and for that I am thankful. The only member of this committee not affiliated with our family is Vicky, who has a lovely daughter with Down syndrome. Vicky has been working with me since we began planning the walk last year.

The commercial is blurry because it had to be condensed and emailed. I have the actual DVD and it's amazing. If you see it ~ let me know!!

Week in Review ~ Is Summer Really Over?

The Terry Family had a fun filled week & weekend. Nathan's grandfather was visiting from North Carolina ~ Nathan's cousin Emily turned 5, his second cousin Lily turned one, and his second cousin Rachael turned 6. We also visited a friend at the Jersey shore for a few days. We were busy!!!

I'm refusing to give into the fact that summer is almost over! School began for me today but that doesn't mean the fun stops. Nathan has an almost therapy free week. His only sessions are occupational therapy ~ everyone else is on vacation. YEAH!
