Nathan is Hebrew and means "gift from God" - we couldn't have been more blessed than to have been chosen as his parents!

Thank you for keeping up-to-date with Nathan. We hope you visit often and enjoy experiencing our son's journey as much as we do. Please feel free to leave comments.

We love hearing from everyone!!!!

Taking a Walk on the Wild Side!

The Terry Family participated in Run for the Wild, at the Bronx Zoo, to raise money and awareness for Tigers. It was a 5k Family fun walk and race that took place in the zoo. It was very cool! Especially after we hit the 2 mile marker and took a wrong turn, got lost, and ended up somewhere near the beginning again! YIKES! In our defense, the ropes had come down and we thought we were going the right way. That was, until we ended up at the giraffes ~ again! It was starting to feel a little like the movie Ground Hog Day.

Once we made it to the end, Danny was super excited to see the New York Yankees Championship Trophy!! Nathan and I were super excited to see the seals perform! This was our first trip to the Bronx Zoo and it was well worth the 5 hour round trip drive. There were so many different types of animals from all over the world. Unfortunately, some were too far for Nathan to actually see ~ the tigers, lions and gorillas. But that may not be all bad ~ they could have scared him. As you'll see below, they were huge!

The animals he was able to see, he loved, which is not a surprise given his love for all things animal. We've decided our next family venture is going to be to the Boston Aquarium because Nathan really loved looking at the fish.

Daddy and NathanThis is my favorite picture of the day! It deserves to be on a greeting card for husbands and wives with a funny caption. I can't think of one right now but I will!

After we left the zoo we headed to Brooklyn. Danny wanted to visit a famous motorcycle shop and on the way we discovered this graffiti. Only in New York City! The greatest city in the world! What talent.
