Nathan is Hebrew and means "gift from God" - we couldn't have been more blessed than to have been chosen as his parents!

Thank you for keeping up-to-date with Nathan. We hope you visit often and enjoy experiencing our son's journey as much as we do. Please feel free to leave comments.

We love hearing from everyone!!!!

The Indoor Water Park (Birthday Part III)!!! *UPDATED*

It was cold outside but inside we were having a blast celebrating the New Year and Nathan's birthday! (the last video was not the right one ~ Nathan and Daddy go down the slide here).

The first two times Nathan went down the slide with Danny he loved it! The third time, not so much. As you probably saw from the end of this video. It was night and the park was darker; that freaked him out a bit but he got over it quickly.

This is the second floor ~ it's meant for younger kids not little babies but probably 4 and over would love it!

Anyone want to learn how to serf? You can do that too!

This is a little glimpse at the lazy river. There are also big slides for the older kids and adults. Tomorrow's post is the all about the SPECIAL GUEST that dropped by our room!!!! We're also gearing up for our Dr. Seuss birthday bash! The fun never ends!!!!

Welcome to the Dance Party! (Birthday Part II)

Everyday, the hotel hosts a welcome party for the families arriving for the day ~ it's an hour long dance party in the lobby! So fun for the kids.

When we returned from the amusement park, we had dinner and headed straight for the New Years Eve dance party!!! It took Nathan a few minutes to warm up to the environment of loud music, the dark with strobe lights and lots of people. Once he did ~ watch out! We had to keep running after him. The only time he got mildly freaked out was when Scooby Do0 stopped by for his initial visit. He was fine after that.

This New Years Eve dance party was so much fun for the kids! The hotel really did a nice job putting this together for the adults too. We had so much fun ~ we wished our entire family could have been there.

After a good night sleep, we hit the waterpark!!! That's the next post!

Nathan's Birthday Extravaganza! (Part I)

Last year, we had a big Baby Einstein birthday celebration for Nathan's first birthday; this year we decided to do something a little different. On New Year's Eve, the Terry Family headed to the Six Flags Great Escape Lodge that features the Looney Tunes Characters and totally awesome indoor water park! It was a perfect way to bring in the new year and celebrate our son's second birthday. The memories we made as a family are just awesome. Wait until you see who brought Nathan a birthday cake and hung out with him in our room!! So cool!

When we arrived, we went across the street to the Six Flags Great Escape and walked around the Holiday in the Park displays.

Guess what Frosty said when he met Nathan? "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" How did he know? Nathan met some funny characters but we didn't stay long; it was cold out and there was much more fun to be had at the Lodge! The highlight of the event was meeting Mrs. Claus!! She really spent some quality time with Nathan and even read him a story. So sweet!

While we were there we picked up our 2010 season passes!!! We can go there everyday if we want in the summer!! I'm so excited!!!

After we left the park, we headed to our New Year's Eve dance party with the Looney Tunes characters!! We had so much fun!!!! I'll tell you all about in my next post!
