Nathan is Hebrew and means "gift from God" - we couldn't have been more blessed than to have been chosen as his parents!

Thank you for keeping up-to-date with Nathan. We hope you visit often and enjoy experiencing our son's journey as much as we do. Please feel free to leave comments.

We love hearing from everyone!!!!

Exciting Nathan News!

Guess who went pee pee
on his new potty?

I have a picture but I'm going to keep that one off the blog! :-) This exciting event happened late Tuesday afternoon. I decided on Monday to put him on his potty a few times each day and on the second day, he went pee! It was so funny!! His toilet sings when it senses pee and when it began it totally freaked him out. So much so that he stopped peeing! Then he got into the tunes and finished what he started! Since then, I've put him on the potty four or five times a day and his teachers are even getting in on the training too! I've created a fun little potty song with sign language so when he does begin to get it, he be able to sign when he needs to go. I don't believe that will be for a while but we have to start somewhere!

Odds & Ends ~ A Long Overdue Update

Forgive me for not updating Nathan's blog this week ~ he's been sick and his ears have been bleeding. The doctor said the bleeding was normal but he's also had a fever and chest congestion.

Nathan has tons of news to report. We took him to an indoor play yard a few weeks ago and I never posted the pictures. Depending on how he feels, we may be heading back this Saturday. He really enjoyed it.

Nathan also has a new favorite toy ~ his Pooh Train! Given to him by his friend Princess Katie! Thanks sweetie!

Nathan and I started a Mommy & Me music class that works on building language skills through singing! We're having so much fun!!! Nathan just adores music but we're also doing lots of other fun stuff too. Last week, we washed baby dolls and sang songs while learning to clean each body part. Then he got to brush her teeth! His favorite (not)! Next week we're going to be painting!
As you'll hear in the video, there was a little unhappy camper with us last week. She just needs time to adjust.

Nathan has some other exciting news to share but his mommy is super tired. She'll tell you tomorrow. Good night.
