Nathan is Hebrew and means "gift from God" - we couldn't have been more blessed than to have been chosen as his parents!

Thank you for keeping up-to-date with Nathan. We hope you visit often and enjoy experiencing our son's journey as much as we do. Please feel free to leave comments.

We love hearing from everyone!!!!

Nathan had some painting fun at school on Friday and he seems to one of those kids that just really gets into his work! hahaha! These pictures are so priceless! I've begun leaving my camera at school and his teachers are so awesome, they take pictures of him periodically through out the day. These are moments I wouldn't be able to see and I'm super thankful for the effort they make to provide me with a glimpse of his day.

We had another fun weekend at camp, filled with lots of activities. Nathan attended a dance party, played in mud at the beach and played his first game of bingo! We also welcomed some family members for a little while over the holiday weekend, which is always nice.

My friend Jen was the initiator of the mud playing. I don't know why but the thought of Nathan being completely dirty in mud scares me! I know he's a boy and this is what kids do but he eats everything and had a few mouth fulls of mud on Sunday. He was so dirty! Jen cleaned him up nicely in the freezing cold lake! lol
On Monday, I decided to take Nathan to the Great Escape for a little while. We started off in the water park because I wanted to see if the cold water was the cause of his fear of the sprinkler. As I suspected, it was. We only spent about an hour there and then went to see a few shows and go on some rides before he needed a nap.Our first show was the Wiggles and he loved it!!! It was so cute watching him get into the music and the characters. That show will be a frequent stop for our family this summer.

After we went on a few rides in Wiggle World we headed over to the Looney Tunes park and caught the tail end of a new dance party show. Again, he loved it and we'll be watching this show again soon.

Hope you all enjoyed your Memorial Day weekend!
