Nathan is Hebrew and means "gift from God" - we couldn't have been more blessed than to have been chosen as his parents!

Thank you for keeping up-to-date with Nathan. We hope you visit often and enjoy experiencing our son's journey as much as we do. Please feel free to leave comments.

We love hearing from everyone!!!!

Back to School ~ South African Style

A few weeks ago Nathan received a very special package in the mail from our friends in South Africa! The package contained an official South African World Cup Soccer Shirt!!! I'm sure most of you probably know, the World Cup was played in South Africa this year. Nathan's new jersey is identical to the one their star player Bafana Bafana, wore during the games. Their son, who is about Nathan's age has the same shirt too. Isn't that cool?!

They also sent him ~ Bokkie, which means "buck or springbok," which is the official South African Rugby Teams Name! I've never seen such a cool looking stuffed animal! He loves it!

What a thoughtful gift for our Nathan!! Thank you so much Du Plessis Family!! We are truly blessed to have you in our lives!

We decided this gift was so special, that Nathan would wait to wear his jersey the first day of school! That day was today. Nathan went sporting his new school backpack and his World Cup Soccer jersey!
It didn't take him long to adjust ~ maybe about 30 seconds. Soon after we walked into the classroom, he was off and playing with all the toys.
