Nathan is Hebrew and means "gift from God" - we couldn't have been more blessed than to have been chosen as his parents!

Thank you for keeping up-to-date with Nathan. We hope you visit often and enjoy experiencing our son's journey as much as we do. Please feel free to leave comments.

We love hearing from everyone!!!!

Christmas ~ Celebrating Our Savior's Birth

This post is late, but Nathan's inaugural trip to Disney was so cool, I had to post about it! We had an amazing Christmas season filled with the love of family, silly projects, Santa and amazing food!We began this years' Christmas celebration with my side of our family. Our family is growing so large that we decided to take our annual celebration on the road! We enjoyed an entire day together at the beautiful Edison Club. The kids opened gifts, created their very own snow globes, played Wii, listened to music and had an all around great time! Garbage trucks were a huge hit this year!

Nathan created a Handy Manny snow globe. Some of the other globes included a farm theme, horses, a winter theme, an ocean theme, and dinosaurs! They were all super cool! It was a fun and easy project and the beauty was that each child was able to make the globes their own. Nathan loves watching Handy Manny and his tools on Disney, so the theme was perfect! This is a collectors item now and we'll be enjoying it for years. We'll definitely being doing this project again.
We spent Christmas Eve with with Aunt Sandy and Danny's side of the family. Guess who stopped by for a visit? The BIG guy ~ SANTA!! He brought Nathan new Sesame Street toys. We didn't even send him a letter this year, but he knew just what Nathan liked. He's pretty amazing.

We always have a great time with Aunt Sandy and the family. They're all a bunch of big kids and we love that! Not to mention, she's one of the best cooks I know and always goes above and beyond to celebrate Christmas. This year, Danny and I worked together and brought a Happy Birthday Jesus cake! Not bad for our very first two tiered cake! We've never made a bow before and working with fondant is a really new adventure for me. It was fun working on this together.

Aunt Sandy wore a hat that sang and danced! It freaked Nathan out! Not in a bad way, but he was super curious. Who wouldn't be?

Nathan was so fun on Christmas morning! He loved opening gifts and playing with one of his favorite toys ~ a dancing and singing Mickey Mouse! The below video was taped just after he opened Mickey. As you'll see, Mickey kept invading Nathan's space. At one point, Nathan literally fell over trying to get out of his way, but after a while he just couldn't take it anymore. :-)

Nathan received so many fun and thoughtful gifts. For our memory ~ Grandpa gave him a kitchen, Grammy brought him a trampoline! You should see this kid jump now! He's a pro!! Mommy and daddy bought him a train table and train with lots of Chuggington trains from Aunt Kathy. Did I mention the trucks? He loves his trucks and we now have a parking lot full! :-) What a blessed little boy!
