You Are Three, But How Can That Be?

Parents of a three year old? How can that be?
It was just yesterday,

that God entrusted Nathan to thee.

He's as cute as a lamb and as daring as a lion.
His cheese face will stop ya, without even trying.

His hugs are the sweetest and kisses divine.
He loves to ride horses, play music, and sign.

Pasta and pizza he loves to eat,

but not when compared to his favorite

ice cream treat!

He watches Mickey and Manny, and lots of Elmo,

but Choppers his only true aficionado!

He says dada, opper, izza and ool

we know what he's saying and think it's so cool!

He's happy and healthy and strong like an ox

He loves his weebles, his books,

and stacking his blocks.

He's our buddy, our bubba,

our bean, and our Nay Nay

He's the most awesome son and he's celebrating a BIRTHDAY!

Nathan's big day started with some yummy Mickey inspired pancakes! He loved them! We also took Nathan to see his very first movie ~ Walt Disney's Tangled! We weren't sure how well he'd do in the dark or in the loud environment, but he was fine! He was mesmerized by the big screen and couldn't get enough of the popcorn and Sprite we shared! The only problem was it happened to almost be nap time and he ended up falling asleep. We enjoyed the movie and can't wait to take him back!

We also celebrated Nathan's birthday with a family gathering. This party was all Elmo! We enjoyed pizza and a creamsicle cake!

This blanket was handmade for Nathan from the Harris and Eglin family. He loves it and now sleeps with it in his crib. It's definitely coming to camp this summer!

We'd like to thank everyone for thinking of Nathan and celebrating with us. We certainly brought his third year in with a BANG!
