Nathan is Hebrew and means "gift from God" - we couldn't have been more blessed than to have been chosen as his parents!

Thank you for keeping up-to-date with Nathan. We hope you visit often and enjoy experiencing our son's journey as much as we do. Please feel free to leave comments.

We love hearing from everyone!!!!

Halloween with the Monsters from the Street!

Halloween was so fun this year!!!  It was the first year Nathan was able to wear his costume to school, go trick-or-treating, and march in a Halloween parade with all his little friends!

As you might be able to tell, Nathan was Cookie Monster for Halloween.  However, this wasn't the costume I originally bought him.  That costume was Elmo, his bff, but he grew out of it by the time Halloween rolled around and I had to take it back.  Thank God, I was able to find Cookie in his size the week before the big day at school!!

This picture is of Nathan and the owner of his school, The Cat in the Hat, I mean, Sheri.  She is super sweet and is always genuinely warm with Nathan, as it evident by the expression on her face.
Nathan thought it was so cool to march around and collect goodies!  He was even trying to say trick-or-treat.  Look at that smile!

Nathan's teachers orchestrated an entire day of fun Halloween goodies, games, projects, and stories.  Including making a pumpkin pinata'.  Nathan was a little shy and not really into hitting the pumpkin.  It may be time for some baseball toys.  He didn't really know what to do and that's our fault for not subjecting him to the sport.  Next summer.

We also attended our annual family Halloween party.  This year, our party was at my Mimere's house.  All the kids were super cute and in the hustle and bustle of life, it's nice to slow down and spend a little time with family.  As always, the party was filled with fun, lots of Halloween goodies, and unique little touches.

I love this picture of Nathan and his cousin!  It's definitely calendar quality.

Danny and I got into the spirit too!

My cousin took the time to put together a hay ride and campfire outside for us to enjoy. Thanks Mike!

The Crew!
Although Nathan was too tired to participate in all the crafts and pinata fun, my Aunt planned lots of fun Halloween activities for the kids.  Thanks Aunt Kathy!!!  Another fun Halloween season.
